A MAN has appeared in court charged with stealing more than £10,000 in bank notes from a charity.
Naser Pasha, of Hazel Walk in Allerton, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court earlier on Tuesday morning.
The 39-year-old has been charged with one count of theft by employee.
It is alleged that in Bradford, he stole £10,639.46 in notes, belonging to Marie Curie, between September 10, 2021, and October 27, 2022.
Pasha pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The judge said the matter was "too serious to be dealt with in this court".
The case was sent to Bradford Crown Court. Pasha will make his first appearance there on Tuesday, December 5.
