A police dog known for his ability to sniff out crime in West Yorkshire has been honoured following his death.
Police Dog (PD) Marley joined West Yorkshire Police as a drugs, cash and firearms search dog in 2012.
But Marley fell ill and passed away in July this year.
The Springer Spaniel has since received a certificate of loyal service from the force.
PD Marley was trained by his handler PC Horsfall, who would go on to become his best friend.
PD Marley enjoyed a successful career locating large amounts of cash, drugs and several firearms.
During his service PD Marley also received a Chief's Merit for his work on an armed robbery case in Halifax.
Paying tribute to his four legged companion, PC Horsfall said: "Marley was a credit to the West Yorkshire Police Dog Support unit. "He had a fantastic reputation of finding what couldn't be seen, whether he was working regionally or nationally.
"Marley also received a Chief's merit for locating cash hidden shortly after a pursuit which started after an armed robbery in Halifax.
"He was my best friend and partner in crime fighting that will be sadly missed, and he crosses the rainbow bridge to be with his brother PD Morgan."
