PICTURES have emerged of smashed windows at a McDonald's and Starbucks in the Bradford district.
Keighley this morning. Both appeared to have been subject to concerted attacks of vandalism.
The Telegraph & Argus visited the businesses on Hard Ings Road and Bingley Street inIt's understood the attacks were part of a pro-Palestine protest, but the town's MP Robbie Moore said those impacted - residents, employees and customers - "have nothing to do with the situation in Gaza".
He added that such action "will do nothing to solve the situation in the Middle East".
Most of the windows at the fast food restaurant and coffee shop have been smashed.
Whilst it is understood that the McDonald's is still open today, this does not appear to be the case at Starbucks.
One onlooker said: "They've really done a job on it. Nearly every window is smashed. The damage will probably cost tens of thousands to repair."
The Telegraph & Argus has approached both businesses for comments, as well as West Yorkshire Police.
