Bradford District Credit Union (BDCU) is hoping to create more conversations about savings and spending.
The credit union will host a series of events for Talk Money Week 2023 - focusing on affordable loans, saving habits and loan sharks.
Taking place in person and online between Thursday, November 2, and Thursday, November 9, the events have been developed in conjunction with some of BDCU's partners.
This includes The Money and Pensions Service, West Yorkshire Pension Fund, Mind in Bradford and the national Stop Loan Sharks Team.
Whether it’s credit scores or overdraft advice, a wide range of experts will be on hand to help.
It will start at Bradford Royal Infirmary with an NHS 'Money SOS' workshop before moving to the University of Bradford.
The tour will also help employees at Incommunities, Bradford Council and Kirklees Council.
The webinar finale is open to all of the union’s 34 payroll partners.
Talk Money Week encourages staff to build money conversations into their everyday lives.
Research shows people who talk about money are more likely to make good financial decisions, better at helping their children develop positive financial habits and less stressed and anxious at work.
The theme of this year's Talk Money Week is ‘Do One Thing’, inspiring people to do one thing to improve their financial wellbeing.
