A YOUTUBE sensation and an international saxophone player have been announced as the first two stars to appear at The Broadway’s Christmas light switch-on event.

Rate My Takeaway's Danny Malin will be reviewing food from the centre to show his 600,000 subscribers and Ellie Sax is set to perform for a third year.

Barnsley-born Danny - who has travelled the world tasting different cuisines including many spots in Bradford - will also take part in a meet and greet with his fans.

Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, said: “We can’t wait to welcome Ellie and Danny to The Broadway. 

“Ellie is so well-known on the music scene, she has performed with N Trance, Artful Dodger and many more. She is, once again, going to bring really great vibes to the event.

"Danny has amassed a loyal following of more than 600,000 followers on YouTube and he’ll be filming himself sampling food from some of our restaurants for his channel.”

Also making a return to the switch-on event is the centre’s 'Broadway Presents'.

The Broadway's Festive Launch - with more guests to be announced - will take place on Saturday, November 11.
