AN exit slip road on the M606 in Bradford is currently closed due to flooding.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the northbound exit slip road is shut at junction three for the A6177 Rooley Lane, causing queuing traffic.
"Traffic is also very slow on the main road," Inrix said.
A spokesperson for National Highways added: "This is expected to remain closed for a few hours.
"Please take care on approach."
It comes as Storm Babet is expected to bring exceptional rainfall and impactful wind across the country.
A Met Office amber warning of rain is now in force in West Yorkshire until 6am tomorrow.
The warning states fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing danger to life.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Following on from wet weather on Thursday, a further spell of persistent and at times heavy rain will affect parts of southeast Scotland and northern England during Friday, lasting into early Saturday.
"Widely 40 to 60mm of rain is likely to fall.
"Strong easterly winds may exacerbate the impacts of the heavy rain."
