SCHOOL services and buses are having to divert due to an "incident" on a busy road.
The issue is on Allerton Road, in Bradford and First West Yorkshire posted on X, formerly Twitter, at 7.14am this morning about it.
The transport company's 616 and 619 services - both running between Bradford Interchange and Eldwick - are being diverted via Squire Lane, Duckworth Lane and Pearson Lane.
First initially said this diversion was just in place for those services on their outbound journeys, but it has since updated this to both ways.
Some school services are also affected by the incident, according to First West Yorkshire.
The post on X said: "Due to an incident on Allerton Road, services 616 & 619 to divert outbound only: Squire Lane, Duckworth Lane, Pearson Lane.
"Some school services will be affected by this closure."
Meanwhile, AA is reporting that the road is closed in both directions due to water main work from Pearson Lane to the mini roundabout.
