A PRAYER vigil will be held in Bradford tomorrow amid the Israel-Palestine conflict.

It is being led by Bradford district faith leaders and will take place in Centenary Square from 5pm.

Organisers say is not a political rally and silence is to be expected.

Bishop of Bradford Toby Howarth said: "Everyone is welcome - all faiths and none - to our Bradford prayer vigil for peace."

Last week, religious leaders in the city came together to send a message of unity.

Violence and hatred must not be seen as a solution, their statement said.

They also warned residents that they "must not allow a proxy conflict to develop" in Bradford.
