AN APPLICATION to provide alcohol and entertainment at a city centre bar from noon until 3am has been submitted to Bradford Council.
Marta Bierkat has applied to Bradford Council for a licence to use the White and Red Bar, 11-17 Barry Street, Bradford, to sell alcohol and provide live and recorded music and dancing, as well as late night refreshment, from 12noon to 3am.

Anyone wishing to comment on the application must do so in writing to The Licensing Section at the above address or through the website no later than Tuesday October 31. It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application.
Also making an application to Bradford Council, Freighteam, of Central Mills, Raymond St, Bradford, BD5 8DT, is seeking to keep an extra five goods vehicles at the operating centre at Central Mills, Raymond St, Bradford, BD5 8DT.
Owners or occupiers of land, including buildings, near the operating centre, who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected by this, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 6NF, stating their reasons, by Thursday October 26. They must at the same time send a copy of their letter to the applicant. A guide to making representations is available from the Traffic Commissioner’s Office.
Details of temporary road closures due to utility works this month include electrical works between Mint Street and Hatfield Road, Undercliffe.
A length of road between Mint Street and Hatfield Road, from its junction with Hatfield Road to its junction with Mint Street, has been closed. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for traffic affected by the order will be via Mint Street, Lowther Street, Undercliffe Old Road, Otley Road, Hatfield Road and vice versa.
The order came into effect at 8am hours on October 3 and remains in force until 6pm on Monday October 23.
In Clayton Heights a public footpath running from Lingfield Terrace to a point outside 37 Union House Lane is to remain closed until 6pm on Friday (October 20) due to the likelihood of danger to the public.
No alternative routes for pedestrians affected by the closure are available.
