A HAULAGE firm in Bradford has received a national award in recognition of its outstanding performance within the UK’s largest pallet network.
PD Bannister, based at Weaverthorpe Road, off Tong Street, is part of the Palletways UK network and received Palletways’ Platinum Award for operational excellence.
Taf Evans, depot principal at PD Bannister, said: “The Platinum Award recognises the very best companies within Palletways’ UK network and is presented to those members that excel in the service delivery field.
“We are delighted to have achieved Platinum Club status which is testament to the hard work put in by myself and our dedicated drivers and warehouse staff to maintain and improve our levels of service and efficiency.”
Warwick Trimble, network director at Palletways UK, added: “These awards highlight the dedication of Taf and the team at PD Bannister who have gone above and beyond to meet the stringent standards.”
PD Bannister is a family-owned business founded by Peter Bannister in 1973. The transport company is now run by David Bannister MD.
It opened its first warehouse in 1992 and joined the Palletways network in 2015.
Today it runs a fleet of 70+ articulated and rigid vehicles.
