THESE shocking new pictures reveal how shoppers had a lucky escape when a double-decker bus burst into flames in Bradford city centre yesterday.
The photos - taken by Philip Lickley, a member of the T&A's Camera Club - show how the entire top deck of the bus was completely destroyed in the conflagration.
The bus was waiting in the busy Broadway during a changeover when the blaze was spotted.
Luckily, there were no passengers on board when the fire broke out and the driver was able to escape unharmed.

A spokesman for First Bradford said: "We do not know what caused the fire and will assist the investigation including a review of CCTV footage.”
