A RESCUE operation took place at a Bradford beauty spot.
Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVRST) said its volunteers were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to help a female who had fallen down steep banking whilst walking in Judy Woods, in the Bradford South area of the city.
She suffered a shoulder injury.
A spokesperson said: "CVSRT were first on scene and provided medical care and pain relief.
"The casualty was placed into an immobilising and protecting vacuum mattress and transferred onto a stretcher.
"The extrication required use of a technical rope system to haul the stretcher up from the base of the slope, followed by a short carry to the roadhead and an awaiting ambulance."
CVRST spent nearly three hours at the scene, on the evening of October 3.
