A POPULAR Bradford pub has updated customers on its huge refurbishment.
In August, The 6 Acres, on Westgate Hill Street in Tong, closed its doors for the works to go ahead.
Bosses say the pub is going to be the "talk of the town" once it is ready to reopen.
They also added that the "dingy toilets" and "dreadful worn down carpet" have been removed.
A post on the pub's Facebook page read: "Just a little update of how of grand refurbishment is coming along.
"We have stripped everything back the back to the core.
"We have altered some supports, got rid of the dreadful worn-down carpet and most importantly got rid of the dingy toilets.
"This has been a long time coming and certainly hasn’t been an easy task but this is going to be the talk of the town we assure you on that one.
"Unfortunately we have had to delay our reopening timeframe but we will keep you in the loop the best we can."
In May, the pub revealed it would no longer be running its "famous carvery".
Breakfast, brunch, and afternoon teas will be the new offerings once the refurbishment is completed.
