A BRADFORD contestant has been selected as a finalist for this year's Miss Yorkshire.
Princess Akande, 18, will be making her second appearance in the competition - won by Leeds woman Milly Hinchcliffe last year.
Her dream is to win the contest and then go on to have a career in modelling.
She will be taking to the stage, along with several others, at the Earl of Doncaster Hotel on Sunday, October 1.
Annalise Butler (Leeds), Celine Bickerdyke (Wakefield), and Alanya Rose Watson are the other West Yorkshire contestants for 2023.
The event, sponsored by Sherni Beauty, has three rounds – black dress, sportswear and evening dress.
There will also be live guest entertainment on the day.
Tickets are available for £15 from supermodel@btclick.com
