ADDINGHAM Beer Festival returns for its 11th year on Friday and Saturday, October 6 and 7, 2023 at Addingham Memorial Hall.
The sponsor session will run on 4pm-6pm the Friday where sponsors can take advantage of complimentary drinks for them and their guests.
The Friday evening session runs from 6pm until late where the focus is on the ales, ciders, gin, rum and the wine on offer.
Saturday afternoon sees the return of the popular quiz with a £100 prize on offer. Turnout is expected to be as much as 150 people across two rooms for this ever popular event.
The Saturday evening session will run from 7pm until late and will feature music from Charlie Acky which is sure to be a hit.
In with their mission statement - beer and a whole lot more - the committee will also have a dedicated gin bar where attendees can try a range of fabulous gins This year, for the first time, they will also be hosting a selection of rums. In addition, there is Prosecco, both standard and rose, wine and free soft drinks for designated drivers.
Tickets are £12.50 per session which includes a festival glass and a complimentary drink. The festival uses a token facility priced at £2 each which equates to a half of ale.
The beer is sourced from local breweries including Saltaire, Ilkley, Kirkstall and Wharfedale. However, there are also many from farther afield. There are also increased “keg” options this year. The tasting notes will be published soon with full details of what is on offer. The cider will be provided by Yorkshire's own Orchards of Husthwaite who will deliver six different ciders.
Food from local suppliers is also available throughout the festival.
Addingham Social Club will be serving pie and peas during the sponsor session, with The Swan Inn back once again on Friday evening. The Lord Addingham will be serving pizza during the afternoon session on Saturday followed by the Craven Heifer in the evening.
Since 2011, Addingham Beer Festival has raised approximately £80,000 for local and worthy causes. Following the success of last year’s festival, they gave funds to 17 different groups and organisations.
