ST Andrew's Methodist Church, Cowling, is holding an 'everything must go' clearance sale on Saturday, September 23 following its closure last month.
All sorts of useful catering and household items and furniture will be up for grabs at the sale which will take place at the church in Walton Street from 10am to 2pm.
Items will include water boilers, large teapots, a100-piece china tea service, cutlery, tablecloths, and fold-up tables. Household goods include kitchen electricals, fluorescent tubes, crockery, cake stands and hardware. Useful furniture includes a desk, filing cabinet, dining tables, trolleys, UPVC cladding offcuts, and safety barrier mesh fencing. All items will be priced to sell, as everything must go.
The church held its final Saturday coffee morning in July; the church closed on August 21, following a celebration service the day before.
New 2U, which raised money for good causes by selling second-hand goods, was based at the church.
