Wilko in Bradford city centre is set to close its doors in a matter of days, the retailer has confirmed.
Bradford's store is among 13 stores across the UK closing on September 17.
The dramatic collapse of the high street chain takes shape from today.
The high street chain fell into administration in August, more than 90 years after it began as a single hardware shop in Leicester.
The closure of the firm’s remaining 400 stores and the loss of 9,100 staff was confirmed by administrators PwC after attempts to save the company came to an end.
Wilko said the joint administrators have explored all opportunities to save the business but all stores will likely have closed by early October.
The retailer is working with potential buyers for different parts of the business, Wilko said.
Zelf Hussain, joint administrator, said: “The dedication shown by all team members during this period has been hugely humbling and we are grateful for the patience and understanding they have shown."
The closure of distribution centre operations is expected to take place on September 15, with the majority of the employees being made redundant on that date.
Further redundancies of the remaining 210 support centre employees will take place during September and early October as operations wind down.
