THE NSPCC is looking for fearless fundraisers in Bradford to take part in a sponsored abseil to raise vital funds to support children and young people across the region.
The 2023 Yorkshire Abseil – The Ultimate Challenge takes place at Ilkley’s Cow and Calf rocks on Sunday, September 24, and there are just a few places left for fundraisers to snap up.
Participants are asked to raise £150 or more in sponsorship, and funds raised at the event will support the children’s charity and its work to help children and families across the region.
Alice Feek, NSPCC community fundraising manager for Yorkshire and the Humber, said: “No training is needed, and you’ll be fully supported on the day.
“It costs £30 to take part, and discounts are available for groups of daredevils who want to encourage each other as they abseil down the beautiful Cow and Calf.
"We’d love to have as many people take part as possible, and every pound raised will go towards helping children and young people across the region.”
To find out more about the 2023 Yorkshire Abseil or to sign up, email alice.feek@nspcc.org.uk or phone 07917 391644 before Wednesday, September 20.
