RETAIL giant Primark has submitted applications for huge new signs at its new Bradford city centre site.
The clothing store is due to move from its current unit in the Kirkgate Shopping Centre into the former Debenhams unit in The Broadway shopping centre.
Although no date for the move has yet been announced, work to prepare the old Debenhams unit has been underway for several months.
And now an application seeking advertising consent for Primark signage has been submitted to Bradford Council.
The application includes signs that will be nine metres tall projecting from the side of the building, and a 15 metre-wide illuminated sign on the side of the building.
A decision on the application is expected next month.
The Telegraph & Argus asked Primark’s press office when the company would be moving to Broadway.
A spokesman said the firm was not yet in a position to announce any further details.
