FIREFIGHTERS from West Yorkshire are set to battle it out with police in a charity boxing event.

‘Fire Fight 999' is a charity boxing match between West Yorkshire Fire Service and South Yorkshire Police, which will take place at the Royal Armouries Leeds on Saturday, October 14, from 7pm. 

The event is billed as being more than just a match; but a call for solidarity within the firefighting and policing community.

It will also raise money for 'The Firefighters Charity', an organisation that provides vital assistance to firefighters and their families facing challenges.

The event promises a thrilling evening, with the fiery clash between fire service and police professionals at its core.
