A TEN-PIN bowling firm, which has a centre in Bradford, is looking to recognise people who have made a striking impact on their communities.

Hollywood Bowl, which has a site at the Leisure Exchange, wants to roll out the red carpet for five community stars from across the country, recognising their extraordinary contributions by engraving their names on the Hollywood Bowl Walk of Fame.

To celebrate achievements, selflessness and dedication, Hollywood Bowl will create a Hollywood star to be installed in their local centre and will also offer an annual bowling pass to say thank you.

Whether it's a neighbour who always lends a helping hand, a parent who tirelessly supports their children or a volunteer who inspires others with their unwavering courage, Hollywood Bowl is asking people to nominate those who have spared no effort in creating a stronger, more united community.

Steven Bremner, Regional Services Manager at Hollywood Bowl Group, said: “We can’t wait to read all the stories from the nominations, we know it will be difficult to pick the five winners.”

The competition is open now to all children and adults and requires entrants to submit nominations at hollywoodbowl.co.uk/walk-of-fame.

The deadline for entries is Monday, September 4. The winner will also win an annual family bowling pass.
