A NUMBER of buses in Bradford will be diverted or delayed due to lane closures and roadworks.
First West Yorkshire has posted on X, formerly Twitter, about a number of changes to its services in the city and surrounding areas this morning.
The 686 bus - which serves between Brighouse and Fagley - and the 687 service - which travels between Scholes and Fagley - are being diverted.
This is because Fagley Road is closed for resurfacing works until this Friday.
Both services will divert via Moorside Road, Harrogate Road, Leeds Road and Gain Lane until then.
Meanwhile, the transport provider has warned people its 72, X6 and X11 services - which travel between Leeds and Bradford - are "likely to encounter delays through the day".
This is as a result of lane closures and roadworks in Thornbury.
First West Yorkshire said: "Please allow extra time to travel if you can."
In more positive news though, four services have been able to return to their normal routes today.
The 613 and 614 buses - which serve between Odsal/Buttershaw to Shipley - are two of those, thanks to Horton Park Avenue being open again.
Meanwhile, the 616 and 619 services - which go between Bradford and Eldwick - are the other two buses running as normal today, as Harden Road has reopened.
