RESIDENTS on a Bradford street have been left with a "horrible" stench after buckets of chicken curry were dumped outside their homes over the weekend.
A recovering cancer patient, who lives on Manchester Road, said she has been unable to open her windows for the past couple of days due to the stench.
Bradford Council said the fly-tipping had not been reported to the authority, but it would send a team to investigate.
Three mattresses and a door have also been dumped.
The woman said the fly-tipping has been there since the weekend and people have stopped passing in that direction due to the smell.
The woman, who did not want to be named, said: “It’s horrible.
“I haven’t been able to open my windows and there’s nothing I can do about it.
“All the neighbours are complaining and we don’t know who’s done it.”
The resident hit out at the audacity of the fly-tipping and said it was a huge concern.
A Bradford Council spokesperson said: “The incident of fly-tipping has not been reported to us, but we will send a team to investigate and remove any fly-tipping they find on the highway/council-owned land.
