A BRADFORD road remains closed as work at the site of a burst water main continues.
The burst on Clayton Lane, Clayton, was repaired over the weekend by Yorkshire Water, but work to backfill the area on the road has yet to be done, causing disruption and diversion of bus services in the area.
A Yorkshire Water spokesperson said: "We’re sorry about the burst main on Clayton Lane.
"This was repaired at the weekend and is currently awaiting backfill, which will be completed by the end of this week.
"We understand how disruptive this can be and would like to thank our customers for bearing with us as our teams work hard to reinstate the road.”
Buses in the area have been diverted, First West Yorkshire said.
The 637 is operating via Bradford Road - the 636 route.
