TWO men today made their first appearance at Bradford Crown Court charged with attempted murder.
The charge relates to a firearms discharge in Farleton Drive, Fagley, Bradford, that was reported to the police shortly after 5pm on July 7.
Nathan Scott, 32, of Sandholme Drive, Idle, Bradford, and Tommy Lupton, 20, of no fixed address, were remanded in custody when they appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court last month.
Scott today appeared before the court on a video link to HMP Leeds and Lupton on a link to HMP Doncaster.
Ashleigh Metcalfe, for the Crown, said the defence teams had requested that the men were not arraigned at today’s hearing.
She estimated the trial would last up to three weeks.
Judge Andrew Hatton adjourned the case until September 15 for a further case management hearing. He said it would deal with arraignment and further trial planning.
He set a trial date for January 2.
Both men were remanded back into custody.
