POLICE have launched an investigation after discovering a cannabis farm.
Officers from Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team received information about a property on Jensen Avenue, near Heckmondwike.
The force attended the address and found a number of plants, fans, and other equipment.
Enquiries are ongoing relating to those involved, the NPT said.
Anyone with information on drug use or drug dealing can contact police by visiting www.westyorkshire.police.uk/report-drug-use
Information can also be reported anonymously through Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
It comes after West Yorkshire Police revealed the warning signs of cannabis farms.
Signs include a constant sound of hydroponics equipment, most commonly fans; strange comings and goings in the property; people visiting the property at different times, during the day or night; occupants inside the address are never be seen but heard; windows are either concealed and/or appear to have a large amount of condensation on them; broken equipment, such as fans, dumped in the front or back gardens; and a strong smell of cannabis.
Another sign is that cannabis farm suspects often bypass electricity meters.
If you're concerned, check for loose or unusual wiring and sparks, burn marks or scorches on the meter.
