ZAYN Malik, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Ricky Wilson, Kimberley Walsh,

Tasmin Archer, Gareth Gates and Kiki Dee.

These are just some of the famous musicians and bands people with widely known connections to Bradford.

But how many other artists from the district can you name?

Music is part of the city's past, present and future - from a secret rave movement in the 90s to garage legend Jerry ‘Red Dred’ Crawford, the DJ credited with setting up Bradford’s first dance all-nighter.

Classic rock band, Smokie - formed over friendships at St Bede's - rose to success in the 1970s with hits like 'If You Think You Know How To Love Me' and 'Oh Carol'.

Meanwhile, battle rapper Lunar C recently filmed in his home city for the music video of 'Something To Believe In'.

With Bradford's City of Culture year quickly approaching, there are many aspiring musicians, rappers and DJs perfecting their art in the studio.
