A popular walking tour channel which takes people around towns, cities, and stately homes surprised fans after filming in Bradford for the first time.

Gimbal Walk TV, followed by more than 57,000 people, captures gentle walks through places across the UK and world.

The channel documents life in a variety of destinations such as Cornwall, Norfolk, Scotland, Tenerife, Greece, and Spain.

The 4K videos are popular with tourists, people looking for an immersive experience whilst using their treadmill at home, and people who experience ‘ASMR’.

ASMR - which stands for autonomous sensory meridian response - is described as a feeling of wellbeing combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck.

Gimbal Walk TV is no stranger to Yorkshire - having visited the likes of Scarborough, Whitby, Richmond, Ripon, York, and Holmfirth.

Last summer, Gimbal Walk TV came to Bradford city centre for the first time and the video is still proving popular with viewers.

More than 26,000 people have explored the city centre virtually since the video was posted.

Gimbal Walk TV said: “This walking tour takes us through Bradford from the railway station to the science and media museum, Alhambra Theatre and through the shopping streets to see what's here.

“Bradford City Centre is a place Gimbal Walk TV hasn't filmed before so we were keen to explore the city streets here and see the places to see in Bradford. We had stayed in the Midland Hotel on Cheapside next to the Railway Station the night before and so our walking tour starts here right outside the hotel.

“This Bradford City Centre tour is our first visit but we will definitely be back for another walking tour of this West Yorkshire city.”

Part of the walking tour took place on Sunbridge Road as the man behind the camera stopped off at a filming location for Billy Liar.

Sunbridge Road is the location of Billy Liar's workplace at the funeral directors.

“We stop off to have a look at this instantly recognisable Billy Liar filming location that I've wanted to visit for a while now,” the video’s description said.
