A MOTORWAY slip-road was reduced to one lane this morning due to a crane blocking the way.
The issue happened on the exit slip-road of the M1 southbound carriageway, at junction 40 (Ossett/Wakefield).
A lorry, which had a crane on the back of it, had broken down in the road and lane one (of two) was closed while the situation was dealt with.
This reopened at 7.23am and a motorway camera image from just before 8am showed what looked to be a yellow crane on top of a lorry in a lay-by on the hard shoulder of the slip-road.
