A POPULAR Bradford pub has promised "big plans" after closing to undergo a refurbishment.
In May, The 6 Acres, on Westgate Hill Street in Tong posted on its Facebook page to tell people that it would be undergoing a makeover.
The pub also revealed it would no longer be running its "famous carvery".
Bosses posted on Facebook yesterday: "Our doors are finally shut for us to undergo our huge new refurbishment.
"We would like to take this time to say a huge thank you to each and everyone of you that has supported us over the years.
"Be sure to keep an eye on here for our updates as we have big plans coming this way."
Breakfast, brunch, and afternoon teas will be the new offerings once the refurbishment is completed.
It is hoped the refurb will be complete by around October.
