A WELL-known hotel has been put on the market for £5.5m.
Gomersal Park Hotel, on Moor Lane, Gomersal, is listed on Rightmove.
According to the listing, some parts of the hotel date back to the 1800s.
It was once owned by Leeds United footballing legend John Charles.
"Purchased by our seller client in 1982 as a 50-bedroom hotel, it was later extended in the early 2000s with the addition of a further 50 bedrooms however in 2015, fourteen of the existing rooms were utilised to make way for the superb Dream Spa, one of the finest in the north," says the listing.
The listing highlights the hotel's position near the motorway and its good transport links to Leeds, Bradford, and Manchester, as well as its surrounding West Yorkshire towns and villages.
The hotel, which is up for sale with Christie & Co, includes The Latitude 53 Bar & Grill, suites to cater for weddings, meetings and functions, plus The Dream Spa.
The spa includes a large, heated swimming pool, with sauna and changing rooms; a mud Rasul steam room; an open-air spa bath; a nail bar and eight individual treatment and beauty rooms.
It also has its own gym and restaurant.
The hotel has 86 en suite bedrooms "and these are categorised as standard singles, doubles, twins and triple rooms, plus Executive Rooms and Signature Suites, of which some have two bedrooms to accommodate families," says the listing.
It says Gomersal Park Hotel sits on a site of around five acres, including a car park with almost 150 spaces and an "extensive lawn".
