LEEDS Bradford Airport is celebrating after reaching a milestone for passengers this year.
The Yeadon-based site has now seen two million passengers pass through its doors already during 2023.
The airport thanked those who have travelled onto a host of destinations from the site during the first seven months of the year.
LBA posted on Facebook: “2,000,000 passengers this year.
“We celebrated a milestone in mid-July by welcoming two million passengers flying through LBA in 2023.
“Thank you for choosing LBA as your airport for unforgettable adventures; we're honoured to be a part of your journey.”
These figures also included a total of 448,449 passengers using the airport in June, with 1,628 flights recorded during that month.
The top three destinations for passengers using LBA during June were Palma, Tenerife and Alicante.
