COMMUTERS were warned of delays and cancellations this morning as all lines were blocked between Shipley and Skipton for more than five hours.
Northern said at 7.13am on Twitter this was due to damage to the overhead electric wires between Skipton and Shipley in both directions.
Train services running through these stations were either cancelled or late.
One commuter, who was travelling from Guiseley station, said: "The train is cancelled due to overhead wire damage between Shipley and Skipton so I’m on the bus now instead."
