AN AEROSPACE engineering firm based in Bradford has returned from the Paris Airshow, the biggest aviation and aerospace event in the world.
Representatives of Sangha Metrology, which consults on measurement applications for the global aerospace industry, travelled to Paris in June as part of a UK delegation of leading aerospace companies.
The head of UK and European engineering projects at Sangha Metrology, Tanya Kaur, said, "The Paris Airshow is the most important event in the aerospace industry's calendar.
“We were honoured and delighted to have been invited to be part of the UK delegation. We are very glad to say that we had an extremely successful experience!
“It was a wonderful opportunity to rub shoulders with the global aerospace elite, and to be at the heart of this amazing industry. We were able to see firsthand the brilliant work of the world's top engineers and to learn about innovation and technologies of the future."
Sangha Metrology began 30 years ago in Bradford and is based in Blanche Street in Laistersyke. Its second factory is located in India, where production has been switched while refurbishment plans at the Bradford site resume in the near future.
