A MAN from Liverpool has been fined for speeding on a Bradford motorway.
Abdul-Azeez O Odumuyiwa, 33, of Arnold Crescent, Liverpool, was caught speeding on the M606, close to the Chainbar roundabout, on October 14, 2022.
The speed limit is 50mph, but Odumuyiwa was clocked speeding at 82mph.
Odumuyiwa was handed six driving licence points.
He was also fined £369 and ordered to pay a £148 victim surcharge and £110 costs for the offence.
His case was dealt with on July 25 at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court in a process known as the single justice procedure, with the case decided by a single magistrate in a closed room – rather than a bench of three justices in open court.
Court documents state his guilty plea was taken into account in sentencing.
