MyLahore picked up the SME Business of the Year. This award was sponsored by BHP
A moving tribute was paid to a late family member and a charity was praised when MyLahore picked up the SME award.
MyLahore Operations Director Ishfaq Farooq said: “It’s an honour for MyLahore’s Bradford flagship restaurant to receive the SME Business of the Year award at the Bradford Means Business Awards 2023, sharing the award along with our fantastic events team.
"A massive thank you to our amazing restaurant team on the ground – the award is a real tribute to their dedication and hard work.
"A big thank you also to all our customers over the years. We’re proud to have been serving the Bradford community for over two decades and look forward to many more years ahead.”
He added: “I’d personally like to dedicate this award to my late Uncle Mohammed Munir who sadly passed away recently, as well as the Bradford Hospitals’ Charity for their inspiring work.”
The SME of the Year award celebrates companies in the region which normally employ no more than 75 full-time staff whilst demonstrating a strong financial performance.
Recognising a business that has shown marked success over the year, this award celebrates companies that are integral to the economy. Judges considered current trading performance, the prospective growth and development opportunities for the future of the business.
