A FORMER Champions League and Scotland forward has signed for a Bradford club in the eighth tier.
Ross McCormack has joined Northern Premier League (NPL) East side Liversedge FC.
The ex-international star, who is now aged 36, has signed for Sedge in a joint player/Director of Football role, with the club announcing the news at 8.20pm on Sunday evening.
A post on Liversedge FC's Twitter page said: "Ross McCormack Signs for Sedge.
"We are delighted to announce Ross will join us as a Player/Director of Football.
"Bringing an additional wealth of knowledge and experience to the Liversedge FC family, we can't wait to have him on board."
The post was accompanied with a picture of McCormack from his Aston Villa days, with a finger to his lips, which highlighted some of the forward's key stats.

McCormack has made 483 career appearances to date, scoring 166 goals - including one for Rangers against Porto in the Champions League in 2005 - and making 61 assists.
The forward - who has switched between playing as a striker, winger and attacking midfielder in his time - has played in the Scottish Premier League (SPL), Championship, League 1 and the A-League (Australia).
He most recently turned out for Aldershot Town in the Vanarama National League, playing twice at the start of the 2020/21 season.
The 36-year-old played for his country 13 times, scoring twice, after making his debut against the Czech Republic on May 30, 2008 in a 3-1 loss.
Liversedge FC are hoping to play a fixture at Clayborn, in Quaker Lane - their home ground - on Tuesday after pre-season game against Widnes FC on Saturday was cancelled due to standing water on the pitch and heavy rain forecast for the rest of that day.
That fixture might come too early for McCormack but the Scot could don the blue and white this coming Saturday for a home tie against 1874 Northwich FC.
Sedge finish their pre-season schedule at Clayborn against recently relegated and local rivals Bradford (Park Avenue) on Saturday, August 5, who dropped down from the Vanarama National League North last season to the NPL Premier - the division above their hosts.
The season gets underway for Sedge the following Saturday (August 12) in another home game, against Cleethorpes Town.
