A MAN has appeared in court charged with theft from a shop in Bradford city centre.
Tabraiz Ali, 32, of Cradock Road, Saltley, Birmingham, pleaded guilty at Leeds Magistrates' Court on June 24, 2023.
He stole socks and perfume, worth a total of £20.50, from the Primark store on Darley Street. The offence took place on May 9, 2022.
He was handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £26 victim surcharge for the offence.
During his court apperance, Ali also pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time.
The court documents stated he was to be detained in the courthouse. Detention had been deemed to be served by reason of time already spent in custody.
