EMERGENCY services were scrambled to Stanningley Bypass today (Tuesday) after receiving reports that a male had fallen from a bridge.
Police were contacted this afternoon following reports of a concern for safety.
They reported a male on a bridge had fallen from height and was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Were called this afternoon with reports of a concern for safety – male on bridge over Stanningley Bypass who fell from height and was taken to hospital."
A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service added: "We received an emergency call at 12.30pm today to reports that a man had fallen from height.
"A number of ambulance resources were dispatched and the patient was conveyed to hospital."
The patient was taken to Leeds General Infirmary but the extent of his injuries is unknown.
