WEST Yorkshire Police are cracking down on parking near a Bradford school.
After receiving several complaints about "inappropriate and unsafe" parking around school run times at Cottingley Village Primary School, on Cottingley Moor Road, the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) has taken action.
A spokesperson for Shipley NPT tweeted: "We receive numerous complaints about inappropriate and unsafe parking around schools especially at drop off and pick up times.
"This morning, officers issued a fixed penalty ticket to a parent outside Cottingley Village Primary School for obstructing the footpath."
