A sandwich shop in Bradford is celebrating after achieving a five-star food hygiene rating in its latest inspection.
Towngate Kitchen, based on Town Gate in Wyke, received a visit from inspectors on Monday, July 10.
It follows the sandwich shop's top hygiene rating at its last inspection in July 2021.
The team behind Towngate Kitchen described feeling "chuffed to bits" over the news.
In a social media post, the Towngate Kitchen team said: “Absolutely over the moon with this, wasn’t expecting them just yet but chuffed to bits to get another five-star hygiene.”
The Food Standards Agency's inspectors go anywhere from restaurants, pubs and cafes to takeaways, food vans, canteens and stalls.
Other locations for food hygiene inspections include hotels, supermarkets and other food shops, schools, hospitals and care homes.
The lowest rating of zero means urgent improvement is required while the top rating of five means hygiene standards are very good.
