A MAN has appeared in court charged with threatening behaviour towards a police officer at a Bradford hospital.
Robert Scott, 49, of Park Road, Bingley, faced one charge of using threatening/abusive/insulting words or behaviour towards the officer.
The incident took place at Bradford Royal Infirmary on Boxing Day last year, Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court heard.
The charge included intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress to the PC.
He pleaded guilty to the charge he faced and was sentenced on June 13, 2023.
The judge fined Scott £400 and ordered him to pay an additional £160 victim surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.
