A BRADFORD care home will be sentenced later this year for failing to provide the proper care to a resident.
Greystones Nursing Home on Parsons Road, Heaton, had been charged by the Care Quality Commission for “failing to provide care and treatment in a safe way resulting in harm or loss.”
The charge relates to a period between November 2019 and March 2020 and claim the failure to provide care “resulted in a service user being exposed to significant risk of avoidable harm.”
Shabaz Munir of Hallside Close, Baildon is director of the care home and appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on Thursday morning to plead guilty to the charge on behalf of the company.
The case was adjourned until November 16 – when the business will be sentenced.
