Alice Parsons, co-organiser of Bradford Pride, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming a range of performers to the stage and creating something which is representative of Bradford.

"There is a really fun mix of performers that you might not be used to seeing at the same time at a Pride event – it’s all about coming together to show off the breadth of LGBTQAI+ experiences and celebrating queer joy in all its forms.”

Councillor Sinead Engel, Bradford Council’s LGBTQ+ Champion, added: “The diversity of our district is one of our great strengths. Our active LGBTQ+ community contributes massively to making the Bradford district the inclusive and welcoming place that it is.

"The three Pride events being held across the district this July are fabulous opportunities for people to come together in celebration and allyship.”

Dan Bates, Executive Director of Bradford 2025, said: “Bradford Pride continues to evolve and it’s great to see how the programme strengthens year on year.

"It’s an opportunity for people to come together to celebrate and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and drive positive change.

"Representation of Bradford’s LGBTQIA+ creative scene is important as we look towards our year as UK City of Culture – and it’s a thrill to see local artists and performers at the forefront of this year’s Pride celebrations."
