A NUMBER of schools across Bradford are set to close due to Eid celebrations.
The following schools listed below have advised Bradford Council of a full or partial closure.
Full Closures (5)
Brackenhill Primary School - A school spokesperson said: "We are closed for Eid celebrations on Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29. We re-open for pupils on Friday, June 30."
Byron Primary School - A school spokesperson said: "Due to the large numbers of staff celebrating Eid on June 28th the school will be closed. This will be in addition to the original calendar closures on the 29th which is also for Eid and on the 30th for teacher training.
Co-op Academy Grange - A school spokesperson said: "The Academy will be closed on Wednesday, June 28, due to an earlier than expected Eid."
The spokesperson added that the school is also closed Thursday, June 29, and Friday, June 30, due to Eid.
Fearnville Primary School - A school spokesperson said: "One day forced closure due to staff Eid observance. June 29th school closed as outlined in holiday schedule."
Lapage Primary School and Nursery - A school spokesperson said: "One day forced closure due to a large number of staff observing Eid. 29th and 30th June school closed as outlines in holiday schedule.
Partial Closures (1)
Co-op Academy Southfield - A school spokesperson said: "Unfortunately, due to Eid falling earlier than expected and safe staffing levels, the following classes will be closed on Wednesday, June 28, as well as the planned closure on 29th and 30th. G01, G02, G03, 201, 202, 212, Year 14 families have been notified."
