POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision in which a 12-year-old boy was seriously injured.
The boy, a pedestrian, was struck by a motorcycle on Bradford Road, Riddlesden, late yesterday afternoon.
He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with head and leg injuries.
Police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The incident happened shortly after 5.30pm, near the junction with Westlea Avenue.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service sent an air ambulance, land ambulance and two rapid response vehicles to the incident.
Enquiries by the West Yorkshire Police roads policing unit into the collision are ongoing.
