THE Met Office has issued a thunderstorm warning for Bradford with a chance of flash flooding tomorrow.
The yellow weather warning covers the whole of the city and surrounding areas, as well as the rest of Yorkshire and the Humber.
The alert area reaches as far south as Nottingham and Lincoln and runs right up the east coast all the way to the tip of Scotland.
It begins at 1pm on Sunday until 9pm this evening.
The Met Office said: "Thunderstorms developing across northern England and Scotland may cause disruption and localised flooding on Sunday afternoon and evening."
What to expect according to The Met Office
- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings and temporary outdoor structures from floodwater, lightning strikes, large hail or strong winds
- There is a small chance that some communities become temporarily cut off by flooded roads
- Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
- Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
