A GRAND night of traditional Roma music and dance is coming to Bradford.

The Zabava will be held at the Princes Ballroom in the iconic Midland Hotel. 

The evening will feature a line-up of celebrated Romani and Traveller bands and artists.

It will take place between 8pm and 11.15pm on Saturday, July 1. Tickets will cost £7.

A notice on the Bradford Council website reads: "Dust off your dancing shoes and join us for this wonderful evening of traditional yet modern music and dance by Roma and Traveller artists.

"A Zabava is a giant party, a fun filled feast of entertainment to delight all your senses. A tradition in the Roma and traveller communities, this joyous evening brings people together to celebrate music, culture and community.

"This is event is open to all communities and everyone will be welcomed with open arms."

The event has been organised by Bradford Literature Festival and Connecting Roma CiC.
