A coffeehouse is set to close its doors after less than two years of opening.

Foam & Flour brought coffee, brunch, and bakes to the Ring O’ Bells in Thornton.

The eatery was popular for its Instagrammable lunches and gluten-free and vegan dishes.

The owners, Sophie and Jo, said “although we are sad, we have to be positive” about the business ending.

In a notice on social media, the owners said: “Just before we close our socials we just wanted to say a final huge thank you to everyone that’s been involved in Foam & Flour & thank you to everyone who visited during our last week and for all your lovely comments and messages ~ your kindness is overwhelming.

“We’re very proud of what we created and the journey that is has been, and although we are sad, we have to be positive, the end of one journey means the start to another one.”

The bar area used by Foam & Flour at The Ring O’Bells will now be taken over by Brunch Club Bradford.

Brunch Club Bradford announced it would be opening on Thursday, June 15.

Announcing the news on Facebook, a spokesperson said: “We are Brunch Club. Your new favourite Brunch & Coffee Shop in Bradford.

“We will be running from inside @ringobellsthornton every Thursday, Friday & Saturday. 9am - 2pm. In a comfy relaxed atmosphere to enjoy fresh Brunch, Bakes & Coffee.”
