ENQUIRIES are ongoing following a report of an assault in Ilkley.
The incident unfolded yesterday evening (June 11).
West Yorkshire Police said officers were called Beanlands Parade, near the River Wharfe, at around 5.30pm to a report of an assault where a male sustained a head injury.
He was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police, said: "We were called at 5.28pm to a report of an assault in Beanlands Parade, Ilkley where a male was found with a head injury.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing."
